Identify what the blockchain records
Ethereum’s NFT guide describes a smart contract linking a particular token to an owner address, with metadata describing what it represents. That record is useful for identifying token ownership. It does not by itself provide every agreement about an associated image or other work.
Read the rights actually offered
The guide also notes that creators can retain rights over their work. Before using an image in advertising, merchandise or another project, read the relevant licence or agreement and ask about unclear permissions. Do not replace missing terms with an assumption that token ownership includes unrestricted use.
Do not treat a scanner as a rights service
An address check is not copyright clearance or proof that a seller was authorised to issue the work. coinscammercheck remains a beta risk-and-transaction lookup, not an all-chain full-ledger review. Keep authenticity, usage permission and transaction risk as separate questions.
